How Many Times a Week Do I Need To Participate In ONERO To See An Improvement In Bone Mineral Density?

It is recommended that ONERO is performed 2x per week to ensure the desired improvement in Bone Mineral Density and Fracture Risk. If you are unable to come more than 1x per week, you can still benefit from the program, but we may recommend that you do your best to supplement another workout on your own.

How Long Do I Need To Do ONERO To See Bone Mineral Density Results?

Bones adapt and change at a very slow rate. It's for that reason that we recommend engaging in ONERO for at least a year before expecting to see significant changes on your DEXA. To help ensure the desired outcome, we also track correlating data to help ensure your progress during that time (muscle mass, strength, etc.).

Will I Be Able To Participate In ONERO With My Current Injury?

Due to the style of exercise utilised by ONERO , certain orthopedic conditions and comorbidities will need to be appropriately evaluated and cleared by a clinician before an individual can participate. This is discussed and screened at the free consultation. Should it be determined that you need a medical release to begin, we will refer you to our trusted network of professionals.

What Is The Difference Between ONERO and Legends?

ONERO is a licensed program that has been proven to improve bone density and reduce the risk of fall-related fractures. It's a very specialized and strategic program that never waivers from these goals and has a class size of up to 8 individuals. By design, it includes the heavy weights and high-impact exercise necessary to improve bone mineral density.

Legends is our 4-person small group training program for individuals over 60. Legends is designed to address muscle mass, metabolic health, mobility, and coordination, helping to combat the aging process. Legends is a dynamic program with much more variance in approach and exercise selection. By design, Legends utilizes lower impact exercises and a higher rep, metabolically demanding approach.

While both may incorporate strength training, ONERO is the only one we recommend for improving Bone Mineral Density and its associated risks.

Do I Need A DEXA Scan Before Starting ONERO ?

While not necessary, it is recommended that you have a semi-recent DEXA scan before starting ONERO . This gives us useful data points to be able to measure your progress and make informed decisions about your exercise selection.
